The main design objective of the “Tree Fort Room” was to make it appear like it was built by a child, with whimsical touches including the crooked wood planks over every square foot of the walls. The builders began by installing wainscoting using our Rustic artificial Barn Wood paneling in Brown – creating a perimeter around the room two panels high (approximately four feet). Wall ledges were made by cutting our Timber faux wood plank in half and then installing it on top of the wainscoting - separating it from the rest of the wall. The Timber planks were then placed on top of that ledge at various slants and sizes to create the crooked appearance, each edge mitered to a specific angle to fit the ledge perfectly.
