NCDOT & Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) have adopted guidelines set forth by NCHRP Report 350. They look just like real masonry and are approved by DOT and the FHWA for use on the National Highway System (NHS).

They cost approximately 1/3 to 1/2 the price of masonry.
20. Can I install Faux Columns™ myself?
21. Why are Faux Columns™ safer than masonry?
Faux Columns are made from a material that breaks away on impact, reducing your liability.
22. Can Faux Columns™ be used for fencing?
Absolutely, we have fence adaptors that can accommodate a variety of fencing with our stone columns and fence components can be screwed directly to our brick columns.
23. How will the Columns handle the elements?
The Columns have been tested under various conditions.
