PLACE – uncut, manufactured edges at beginning and end of row. MITER – to complete outside and inside corners. ATTACH – using 3" screws, apply to wall through top or face of ledger.
Countersink screw, then cover up with synthetic mortar.
   
SEAL – all cut edges and any exposed fasteners with synthetic mortar.
Filling gap between ledger pieces with mortar is optional.
