Faux wood wall paneling is used as wainscoting in the “Shanghai Cave” episode of the DIY Network’s Man Caves. Oxford Barnboard panels were were the designer’s choice.

This project had to incorporate a few man cave ideas. The owner had several hobbies he wanted to include, such as karaoke and a mahjong table, along with elements of his culture.

To create an old-world Asian feel, the barnboard-style faux wood panels are a perfect choice. They also install easier and are more cost effective than genuine wood.
