Download this page as a printable PDF

Tools and Supplies You'll Need

  1. Textured Caulk
  2. Caulking Gun
  3. Touch-up Paint
  4. Paintbrush
  5. Damp Rag

The panels can be installed indoors, or outdoors, on any reasonably flat surface that is clean and is in structurally sound condition.

1.) When installing the panels some caulk may squeeze out of the seam.

2.) Remove any excess caulk using a wet rag.

3.) Using a wet paint brush, smooth the remaining caulk into the panels. Use a horizontal (side to side) motion to blend the caulk color into the panels.

4.) Caulk may also be needed where the screws heads are, apply a small amount of caulk to conceal the screw head. Then smooth out the caulk with wet paintbrush. Then let the caulking dry. If your panels have touch up kits, follow the How to Touch Up instructions to paint over the Caulk to further conceal the caulk.
